Edit an Existing Location
Need to edit existing location details for a location for your practice? Follow the next steps here!
Let's Get Started!
To access the Locations tab, please log in to SamaCare and follow these steps:
- Navigate to Practice Settings: Click on the "Practice Settings" tab located in the left-hand navigation panel.
- Select Locations: Once in Practice Settings, choose the "Locations" tab from the top menu.
This will guide you directly to the Locations section where you can manage your practice's locations.

Edit Locations
To begin editing a location, simply click on the edit icon next to the desired location. A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to modify the location's details as needed. Once you've finished making changes, simply click the "Save" button to apply them.
- Please note: The NPI number is greyed out and cannot be edited. If there is an error or the NPI number needs to be updated, you will need to remove the provider entry and select "New" to enter the correct NPI number.
- Name
- Address
- Fax
- Facility Name
- Tax ID
- PTAN - Provider Transaction Access Number

Removing a Location
If you wish to remove a location from the list, you may do so by selecting the trash can or delete icon. A confirmation window will appear. Select "Yes" to permanently delete the location.
