My Access Permissions
There are 3 different user roles which provide different abilities and responsibilities as a user in SamaCare: User, IsAdmin, Is Read Only.
User
- Users who are not marked as "IsAdmin" or "Is Read Only" will only have the ability to view, edit and submit authorizations within the SamaCare platform. They will not have access to the following:
- "Practice Settings" Tab
- Add new users and edit existing users.
- Add new providers and edit existing providers.
- Add new locations and edit existing locations.
- Deactivate accounts.
- Edit user institutions.

IsAdmin
- Users who are marked as "IsAdmin" will have the ability to view, edit and submit authorizations within the SamaCare platform. They will also be listed as an administrator who will assist their team with the following:
- Add new users and edit existing users.
- Add new providers and edit existing providers.
- Add new locations and edit existing locations.
- Deactivate accounts.
- Recover locked accounts.
- Edit user institutions.

Is Read Only
- If a user is marked as "Is Read Only, this user will have the ability to view all the same options as a normal user, but will not be able to submit or edit authorizations for the practice.
