Receiving Invitation Email
- During the implementation process, SamaCare will request your user details (first name, last name and email) that you will utilize to login and manage your authorization. Once your details have been added to your practice institution, you will receive a welcome email with a password reset link.
Link Expiration This link will expire in 14 days.
Logging In
- Go to https://provider.samacare.com/#/login
- Enter the email you provided to utilize during the implementation process, then select continue.
- Enter the password you have set up for your account.
- Select "Login".

Forgot Password
- If you need to reset your password, you can use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen.
- Within the next window you will be able to enter a new password.
- You should receive an email with the subject "Verify your SamaCare email address" from no-reply@dev.samacare.com. This email will contain your one time use verification code.
- Enter your verification code and select "Change password". This link will expire in 1 hour.
- If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder and check with your IT department to ensure the email address "no-reply@dev.samacare.com" is allowed by your email provider.

Logging Out
- While logged in, within the left side navigation pane at the bottom, you will see your initials and a door icon. To log out, simply click the door icon shown.

Locked Out or Inactive Account
- If your account has been inactive for longer than 60 days, your account will become locked. Please contact your practice administrator to reactivate your account through the Samacare Administrative Dashboard.

Platform Layout
User Interface (UI) Overview
- Authorizations -This tab allows you to view, manage, and initiate your Prior Authorization Requests.
- Benefits Verifications - Use this tab to perform benefit verifications for your patients.
- Patients- The Patients tab will display a list of pre-selected patients whose Prior Authorizations, Benefit Verifications, or Enrollments have been modified within the last 24 hours, 30, 60, or 90 days.
- Enrollments - This tab provides the functionality to efficiently manage patient enrollments.
- User Settings - This tab provides a secure location to save your login information for different portals. This allows for faster access when using the "Check Status in Portal" feature and enables our status checkers to retrieve the status of your Prior Authorization requests.
- Practice Settings - This tab is exclusively visible to users with administrator privileges. Within this tab, you can add and manage users, providers, locations, and patients.
- Help Center - This tab will direct you to our help center, a convenient self-service platform for finding answers to your questions.
- Hide and Expand Menu - The chevron icon allows you to minimize and expand the menu.
- Logout - Use the logout icon to sign out of SamaCare.
