Edit an Existing Provider


Need to edit existing provider details for a provider with your practice? Follow the next steps! 


  • Login to SamaCare and navigate to the "Practice Settings" tab in the left navigation pane.

Select "Providers" Tab

  • Select the "Providers" tab and select the "pencil" icon next to the providers name that you would like to edit. 
  • In the pop-up window you will be able to edit and add any provider details needed.
    • Please note: The NPI number is greyed out cannot be edited. If there is an error or the NPI number needs to be updated, you will need to remove the provider entry and select 'New' to enter the correct NPI number. 
      • First Name
      • Last Name
      • Specialty
      • TIN
      • DEA
      • License Number
      • Label

Removing a Provider

  • If you wish to remove a provider from the list, you may do so by selecting the "trash can" icon next to the providers name that you would like to delete. 
    • You will be asked to select "Yes" or "No" on whether you want to delete the provider named "John Doe". To move forward, select "Yes".

Save Changes

  • Once you have made the necessary edits select "Save"
