This article has been crafted to guide you in utilizing the Patient Demographics upload feature on SamaCare. With this feature, you'll seamlessly upload and update all your patient information in a single location, enhancing your workflow efficiency.

• Navigate to the “Practice Settings” tab on the left navigation pane.

Upload Your Document!

• Select “Upload” from the top navigation bar. Next, please select or drag your CSV file to initiate the document upload.

Verify Mapping And Begin Importing!

• After your upload is complete, please verify that your document is accurately mapped. If you notice any discrepancies or if you see a message that says “Unmapped Columns”, update the dropdown menu to ensure that the attributed name and description are correct. This step ensures clarity within the document. Once your upload is properly mapped, select “Start Upload”. Lastly, verify your institution and select "Continue" to begin importing.

• Once your document has started importing, it could take up to 15 minutes to complete.

• Upon completion of your import, the status will change to "finished." You'll be provided with information regarding the number of imported rows and whether any rows were skipped. This allows you to verify the success of the upload and address any potential issues.

  • If any rows have been skipped, please select "Details" to review which rows were skipped and the reasons behind it.

  • Select the information circle to view the number of items that have been added and updated.

• Once the import process is finished, your patients will be added into the "Patients" tab. Within this section, you'll find patient data, including timestamps indicating when each patient record was created or updated.
