What if I don't see a payer portal I use on the list above?

SamaCare recognizes the shift in the prior authorization market from forms & faxes to portals.  As a result we are consistently adding more supported portals to our platform. With your help, we can continue to improve the experience by you requesting any portal you would like to see supported by SamaCare. You can see steps on how to request those here. 

What does the portal connection within SamaCare allow me to do?

You have the power to link your payer portals to the mystical domain of SamaCare, unlocking the ability to safeguard your payer portal credentials, effortlessly traverse the portals, and preserve your portal's prior authorizations securely within the enchanting confines of SamaCare. Witness the magic unfold as you track all your connected portal prior authorizations within the mystical aura of SamaCare.

Will SamaCare automatically check on these statuses for me?

Fear not, for our vigilant platform conducts status checks four times each day. These updates ensure the updates provided the portal Id is inscribed on the prior authorization and the portal credentials remain current and updated. However, should a portal alter its mystical properties, it may temporarily bewilder our status checkers. In such an event, rest assured, our wizards labor tirelessly to manually scrutinize the status, mending the magical thread with swift incantations

My passwords aren't saving in SamaCare, what do I do?

Wizardry gone awry! Let's ensure the proper steps are followed diligently.  

1. Make sure you are using a chrome web browser and have downloaded the chrome extension.

2. You will need to log in to each portal after installing the chrome web extension so SamaCare can capture the credentials.

3. If the portal username and password fields display the purple lotus, credentials are saved!

I can't see my portal prior authorizations in SamaCare, now what?

By the mystical stars! Fear not, dear seeker of enchantment. Join me, and together, we shall unravel this challenge and discern the happenings within SamaCare. 

1. Make sure you are selecting "Web Portal Authorization" under "New Authorizations"

2. Make sure you are seeing the "your extension is ready to go" response in the pop up.

3. Make sure you have selected "Proceed" in the flow.

4. Make sure you have clicked the lotus on the last step if you don't get a purple pop-up letting them know it was auto-detected.
